Play & Learn Kids — a learning app built for children ages 4–8
Play & Learn Kids is designed from the ground up to be safe for young children. We do not require account creation, login, or any personal information to use the App.
We collect none.
Specifically, Play & Learn Kids does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
The App does not require an internet connection to function, and it does not communicate with any external server.
All game progress — including stars earned, completed levels, and parent-configured settings — is stored entirely on your device, in a local Room (SQLite) database.
Play & Learn Kids contains:
We do not partner with ad networks, analytics providers, or data brokers of any kind.
Certain areas of the App — including the Parent Dashboard, where settings can be changed — are protected by a Parental Gate. Before a child can access these areas, the App presents a simple math challenge that is designed to be easy for an adult but difficult for a young child to solve on their own. This helps ensure that only a parent or guardian can adjust settings.
Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, there is no personal data for us to use, share, or retain. This design approach is intended to comply with COPPA and Google Play's Families Policy requirements around data minimization for child-directed apps.
Play & Learn Kids requests only the minimum device permissions necessary for the App to function (such as basic storage access for its local database, if applicable). It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
This Privacy Policy, and the App's in-app Kid Safety screen, are available in:
You can view a localized version from within the App via the "Privacy Policy" button on the Home Screen or from the Parent Dashboard.
If this Privacy Policy is ever updated, the "Last Updated" date above will be revised, and a notice will be made available within the App's Parent Dashboard. Because the App does not collect contact information, we are unable to notify parents directly — we encourage periodically reviewing this page.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the App's approach to child safety, reach out any time.
